Kapuso actor Dennis Trillo reacted to the breakup between Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana.
In 2013, Dennis, Tom, and Carla worked together in the series My Husband’s Lover. In the said series, Carla and Tom played as a married couple while Dennis became the lover of Tom’s character.
The series was quite controversial. On the other hand, the Kapuso stars in the series were lauded for being brave in portraying their unique roles.

Apparently, because of Tom’s character in the series, speculations surfaced that in real life, he is also a member of the LGBTQ community. When it was confirmed that Carla and Tom are no longer together, one of the issues thrown at the actor was the allegation that he is g..a.y.
In a recent interview, Tom stressed that he is not g..ay and that he has no other woman as well. These are just among the issues that were addressed to him when he and Carla broke up.
