In 1999 when Cuyugan was launched as one of the newest talents of Star Magic. He rose to fame after appearing in the hit defunct series, Pusong Ligaw in 2017. The following year, he starred in the fantasy series Bagani as Gaki.
He was married to a non-showbiz personality and he had kids. However, the latter passed away in 2017 due to ovarian cancer. Previously, he dated actress and former GirlTrends member Dawn Chang. But after being in a relationship for three years, they decided to break up.
It was on July 2021 when Justin posted some cryptic messages on social media about a “narcissist” who hurt him as well as his decision to move out from the house where he and Dawn stayed. In an interview, the actor shared that he did not expect that they going to split up.
According to him, it became much heavier when he saw that his children are getting affected by their separation. Presently, Dawn is in a relationship with Atty. Ralph Calinisan.
