KD Estrada and Alexa Ilacad are set to star in the upcoming musical farce of the Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA), “Walang Aray.”
PETA made the announcement on Sunday, November 13.
“KAMAY SA DIBDIB! IHANDA NA ANG MGA PUSO! Dahil narito na ang bagong tambalan sa tanghalan!” said PETA.
“The Hottest Musical Pair and Breakthrough Loveteam of 2022, #KDLex, takes on the live stage!”
KD will play the role of a musical theater actor Tenyong, while Alexa is the “beauty, brains, and talented” leading lady, Julia.
The two will alternate with actors Gio Gahol and Maynor Madamesila in “Walang Aray” by veteran playwright Rody Vera. The show is billed as a “fiercely irreverent, ferociously clever, and seriously hilarious musical farce” by PETA.
“Walang Aray” will be directed by Ian Segarra and will feature original music by Vince Lim. It will run at the PETA-Phinma Theater in New Manila, Quezon City from February 17 to May 14, 2023.
