It was just recently when Alcaraz, the husband of beauty queen-actress Precious Lara Quigaman, appeared at the coronation night of Binibining Urdaneta 2022 wherein he serenaded the lovely candidates. During his appearance, he made a rendition of Ngiti, popularized by Ronnie Liang.

He earned massive criticism due to his song number which was first posted on the Bekis of Pageantry 2.0 Facebook page. His so-called rendition went viral garnering millions of views. Apparently, that video was taken down after its allegedly “original and unedited version” resurfaced. However, it’s not confirmed if the first video uploaded was edited or not.
While the actor has yet to speak up on the issue, Ogie Diaz commented on it and at the same time gave a piece of advice to the actor.
According to the talent manager, the viral video should serve as a lesson, especially for actors taking in “rakets” partaking in events such as serenading candidates at a beauty pageant.
Ogie Diaz is hoping that Marco Alcaraz was only drunk at the time so that he would still have a chance to recover if he was asked to sing again for candidates in a pageant.
