Jho has been confined at the St. Luke’s Medical Center, Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City for more than a year already (since November 2021). She has been suffering from severe hypoxemia which led to multiple complications.
On October 10, she was discharged from St. Luke’s Medical Center. But just after a week, she was rushed again to the hospital due to her unstable heart rate.
Based on her medical update last November 17, 2022, it was reported that her digestive system was in good condition. Aside from that, her blood pressure and oxygen saturation was “very stable.” Andrew felt that Jho was really fighting for her life.
Sadly, Jho passed away today. Her death was confirmed by no less than her husband Andrew Schimmer through a Facebook post. In his post, he was holding his wife’s hand.
It was accompanied by the caption: “The Love of my Life…my wife..my best friend.. my partner in everything. Remember your promse, together forever.”
His post was then flooded with condolences from netizens. Among those who reacted to the passing of Schimmer’s wife is talent manager-vlogger Ogie Diaz.
